Playing along with Scrap The Girls!!

Hello everyone! I am back again with a page i did using this months sketch from Scrap The Girls. I have been playing around with a few challenges and trying to get my mojo back after the long break i have had, let me tell you it has been hard! I decided to scrap this years Halloween photo. This is only the second year we have done anything for Halloween as we don't really celebrate it. But anything to dress up really isn't it!! Anyway so i used the sketch as a basic foundation and just went to town until i was happy with it! Here is the sketch i used for inspiration.

This is what i came up with :)

So that is it from me for now, i hear a washing machine beeping at me in the distance lol. Until next time take care and keep scrapping!!

ScraptoberFest Challenge

Back again with a page i have finished for an exciting challenge. It turned out a little plainer than i wanted but i love it because it is the first time i have scrapped my third pregnancy. I usually hate photos of myself, this pic is no exception, but i have come to terms with i need to be in pics just as much as the rest of my family.  To see full details of this challenge pop over here.

So here is my page. It is a mixture of handmade embellies, Amy Tan, Heidi Swapp and a few others.

Thanks for dropping by xx

Playing Along With Scrap The Girls...

Hello everyone. It has been so long since i have scrapped and i am so far behind *blush* and i honestly feel like i don't know how to scrap anymore lol. So much has happened in our lives this year and i really want to get it all down. To get the juices flowing again i have decided to play along with a few challenges. The first pick for me, having two lovely daughters, was the Scrap The Girls  October challenge. I just love the mood board they have provided.

Isn't it just lovely? I decide to scrap my youngest beauty who turned 8 this year. I cannot believe how time flies. I plan to do a few Project Life spreads with it as well to document her whole day, as most of us scrappers do we take so many photos lol. Anyway so here is what i have come up with.

Ok so that is it from me for now. I am off to finish a few more pages :) until next time take care and scrap on!

I AM BACK!!!

Ok so i have been missing in action for awhile now, my apologies. I have done no creating for many months now......but there has been a reason. I found out i was pregnant with my third little bundle of joy this May. In between growing my little human, continuing to finish my nursing degree and raising my beautiful girls it has been hectic to say the least. As i hang up a few hats until uni starts again next year and i give birth, i plan on creating. I have an awful lot of catching up to do! So i hope to see you again soon with some creations.

Sharing my page using the February Jot magazine mood board

Hello everyone. I have been a terrible, terrible blogger. I had so many hopes for  2015 and life had other plans. I have been scrapping though, so that is a good thing. The past few weeks i have been trying to relax and regroup ready for the new uni term. However, whenever i don't scrap for a long period of time when i finally do i am inundated with so many ideas and actually accomplish a heap of unfinished pages. I am a master at unfinished projects. So slowly over the weeks i will aim to finish each and everyone of them and share them all with you as well.

Today i am sharing a page which i created using the Jot magazine February mood board. I stumbled across this because I have been a subscriber of the Scrappy Canary kits for awhile now and they are offering a voucher this month to the winner. As with most of the ladies, the mood board drew me to Amy Tans stitched collection, which i found a bit funny. There is still time to play along http://jotmagazine.com/february-2015-mood-board-love-air/

On to my page. What i took away from the mood board was the colour scheme black, red, white, and gold. I had to definitely use love hearts. I wanted my page to represent us. Our love is intense, crazy, wild, never ending, complex and just is.

So that is it from me, i am off to do  some more scrapping.

A card to share.

Hello!! I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year! Ours was very quiet as i have been battling with a terrible virus since Christmas, so i wasn't exactly very cheery. Despite being sick though i have been trying to get into my craft room to at least attempt something.  I have great plans this year to create and actually finish things, whose with me? Except this blasted virus has set me back greatly I have still yet to finish my December Daily but i will. To just add to the endless list of things i have to do i have also made the decision to do a weekly project life as well as to catch up on all my unfinished projects. What crafty accomplishments will you be achieving in the new year?

Anyway it is my daughters birthday on Monday so i actually made her a card, go me! I don't make cards very often as they just aren't my thing but i sure had alot of fun making this one. I am thinking this technique will also look good on top of a box that i found in my stash of wood projects. So here is my card, let me know what you think.

So that is it from me, i am off to create some more :)

Top 10 of 2014!

So we have made it to New Years Eve! Almost time to say goodbye to 2014 and welcome the wonderful 2015. I hope you have all had a memorable 2014 and 2015 brings you just as much happiness! I wish i could say i have made some New Years resolutions but the fact is i do not make these because most of the time i do not keep them, shame on me.

So what will the new year bring....

I aim to create more, blog more and live my life to the fullest. I am going to actually attempt a weekly project life, wish me luck! Project life is still a new concept to me as i only took the plunge this year. I have been collecting products all year too, ready to start the new year. Armed with my Epson Picturemate, my Heidi Swapp planner (which is still waiting to arrive) and an eagerness to  achieve i think i can give it a fair shot.

I want to spend all my spare time with my lovely little family enjoying all those special moments. I also continue my studies in 2015 and i aim to always give 100%. I have come along way since i first began and although i still have so far to go the end of the tunnel is nearing and i am absolutely flabbergasted at how much i have learnt.

The new year is also special to me as it is the last year my eldest is in primary school. I cannot believe how quickly time has flown and how she is coming into her own being.

So now onto my top 10. It is always so hard to choose but this year i feel i have hardly created anything so it was easy to pick some clear winners.

First some Project Life pages.....

Then some Scrapbooking pages....

(I am so glad i took a photo of this as i no longer have the original. Unfortunately this was one of the pages selected by Northbridge Publishing to be published and i have not received it back :( such a shame but i have my fingers crossed it will return!)

Lastly a Smashbooking  page...

Ok beautiful peeps that is my top 10. Thanks for stopping by and i look forward to popping by and seeing what you all share as your top creations :) HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all.
